About Susana Cerezuela
Painting sits at the core of what I do, though a project will often lead me naturally into sculpture and installation. Making things with my hands is how I process the emotions that don’t fit neatly into language, such as grief, healing and fear.

My process is an ongoing fight between control and letting go. This tension on the surface directly mirrors the themes I explore: the vulnerability of living through change, and the delicate practice of accepting what cannot be fully mastered.

By blending human and natural forms, I create figures that are caught between worlds, never entirely one thing or another.
My work is an invitation to slow down, embrace the uncertainty and discomfort of change, and notice the beauty that exists in transition.
